Hair Turban Swatch Approval: Microfiber, Two-Tone Color and Edge Logo

A recent private-label hair-turban inquiry asked Ecorivta to compare CloudDry, premium microfiber, waffle microfiber and bamboo-cotton before sampling. That inquiry is a real demand signal, but it is separate from the completed order used in this brief. The production evidence below comes from an anonymized 10,000-piece microfiber order with a 65 x 25 cm pattern, two-tone color, a traditional button-and-elastic-loop closure, an edge-binding logo and a paper sleeve.

Quick Buyer Summary

  • Completed order: 10,000 microfiber hair turbans in a 65 x 25 cm finished size.
  • Main buyer priorities: verified microfiber material, absorbency context, handfeel and an on-trend two-tone appearance.
  • Closure: a traditional button and elastic loop approved together with the finished pattern.
  • Logo lesson: screen printing on the narrow edge binding needed repeated tuning and suits simple marks better than complex symbols.
  • Packing: a paper sleeve sized after the product fold was approved.
  • Evidence limit: post-wash performance was not recorded, so this article makes no wash-durability claim.

Do Not Quote CloudDry Without a Technical Sheet

A name such as “CloudDry” can help a buyer point to a desired market feel, but it is not enough for hair turban swatch approval. This brief does not treat CloudDry as a generic fiber name, a universal construction or a measurable absorbency level. Ask the named supplier to convert it into actual quote fields: fiber composition, surface construction, fabric mass, finished handfeel, color route, absorbency method, care route and any certification scope.

The FTC Textile and Wool Acts Guidance 1 explains why generic fiber identification must remain truthful even when a trademark or trade name is used. For an RFQ, record both the market-facing name and the verified composition instead of using one as a substitute for the other.

The completed order used microfiber. The buyer connected that material choice with good water pickup, but the order record does not contain a laboratory absorbency value. If measured evidence is required, AATCC TM79-2025, Absorbency of Textiles 2 is one possible test-method reference for yarns, fabrics and garments. It is a future test option, not a claimed result for this order.

What the 10,000-Piece Order Actually Approved

The value of the completed order is not that every buyer should copy it. It shows which fields had to become specific before bulk production. The hair turban swatch approval route connected material, pattern, color, closure, logo and packing in one sample decision.

Approval field Completed-order route What a new buyer still needs to confirm
Quantity 10,000 pieces. Quote quantity and any launch split.
Material Microfiber. Composition, construction, handfeel and evidence required.
Finished size 65 x 25 cm. Pattern tolerance and fit on the intended hair volume.
Color Buyer-selected two-tone route. Physical swatches for both colors and seam placement.
Closure Traditional button plus elastic loop. Button position, loop reach and reinforcement.
Logo Screen print on the edge binding. Simple artwork, print width and contrast.
Packing Paper sleeve. Folded dimensions, sleeve fit and required label copy.
Wash result Not recorded. Define a wash and acceptance route before making a durability claim.

Two-Tone Color and the 65 x 25 cm Pattern Move Together

The buyer selected a two-tone appearance because it matched current market references. A reference photo is useful at the start, but production approval needs the two color standards, the join line, the visible side after folding and the binding color. A color can look balanced on a flat swatch and become visually uneven once the 65 x 25 cm pattern is sewn and wrapped.

Pantone Color Systems 3 can provide shared color references, while physical microfiber swatches remain necessary because pile direction, surface density and lighting change the visual result.

Approve the two swatches beside each other, then approve a sewn sample showing the center join, binding, button and elastic loop. Keep the signed color standard with the production file rather than approving from a screen image alone.

Edge-Binding Logo Printing Needs Simple Artwork

For this completed order, a conventional woven label and embroidery did not give the preferred appearance. The selected route was a screen-printed logo on the edge binding. The process was feasible, but the narrow print area required repeated adjustment before the logo looked balanced.

This route is not a good default for a complex brand symbol. Fine lines, small counters, multiple colors and long wordmarks lose tolerance quickly on narrow binding. Send a simple one-color version of the artwork, the minimum readable size and the required repeat spacing. If the brand mark cannot be simplified, move it to a wider label or another product area instead of forcing it onto the edge.

The related hair towel elastic strap failure brief owns stitching and pull-risk review. W7-32 does not invent a closure failure; its real correction was the visual and process tuning needed for the edge print.

Keep the Closure and Paper Sleeve in the Same Sample

The traditional button and elastic loop were part of the approved 65 x 25 cm construction. Check the loop reach on the finished turban, not on a loose fabric piece. The sample photo set should show the loop at rest, the loop reaching the button, the binding print and the wrapped product from both sides.

The paper sleeve must follow the approved fold. Finalize sleeve width, height and board weight only after the sample can be folded without hiding the two-tone feature or pressing the button into the fabric. Reserve space for truthful fiber, origin, care and brand information required for the destination market.

Combine the market reference and measurable fields in one handoff:

  1. Intended buyer, retail or GWP use, quantity and launch date.
  2. Material name plus verified fiber composition, construction, handfeel and any absorbency evidence required.
  3. Finished 65 x 25 cm pattern or another target size, including tolerance.
  4. Both color references, binding color and join-line placement.
  5. Button position, elastic-loop length and reinforcement view.
  6. Simple vector logo, edge-print width and minimum readable size.
  7. Folded product dimensions, paper-sleeve dieline and destination-market label copy.
  8. Wash method and acceptance fields if durability claims are required.

This file gives Ecorivta enough information to recommend a swatch and sample route without pretending that a fabric nickname answers the quote.

Hair Turban Swatch Approval Questions

Is CloudDry a standard microfiber specification?

Do not use the name alone as a specification. Ask the named supplier for the technical sheet and record the generic fiber composition, construction, fabric mass, handfeel, absorbency method and care route separately.

What was the completed 10,000-piece order specification?

It used microfiber, a 65 x 25 cm finished size, two-tone color, a traditional button and elastic loop, screen printing on the edge binding and a paper sleeve.

Can a complex logo be screen printed on the edge binding?

The narrow binding area is better for a simple one-color mark. The completed order required repeated tuning, and complex symbols are not recommended unless the artwork can be simplified.

Can Ecorivta claim the completed order passed a wash test?

No. Post-wash performance was not recorded in the supplied order evidence. A new buyer should define the wash method and acceptance fields before using a durability claim.
